As the fruit trees start to blossom, the buds start to swell on the vines and mother nature carries on as usual. Moving the stacks of prunings is the next job.
We had prepared to use single-use, biodegradable cups for wine tastings this Saturday 21st March, but will now postpone to be on the safer side. If you would like to ‘click and collect’ we can email you a link to securely purchase wine and if you let us know when you would like to collect, we can do a non-physical contact transfer into your car boot, or leave outside the shop, if you drive down through the gate. The award-winning 2014 harvest Brut is all gone but the new Brut (2015 harvest) arrived this week and will be available for tastings this Saturday 26th October, 2-5pm. Truly scrumptious – come and taste for yourself…

David delighted to be presented by Master of Wine Patricia Stefanowicz, the salver for the Best Rosé in the Thames and Chilterns Vineyards Association competition, held on Saturday 7th September.

The recent English Food and Wine Festival was a fabulous event (http://www.englishwineandfoodfestival.co.uk/ – see slide show here), with around 700 visitors and tastings of our wines flying out of the bottles…If you missed this then we will be open this Saturday 22nd June 2-5pm and on occasional Saturdays throughout the summer – see our web page for updates.
The poppies are out to celebrate the appearance of the long awaited cuvée (3.5 years to create!) – a delicate sparkling wine with smooth notes of orchard fruits and the most tantalizing of rosés; fragrant with essence of summer berries.
