Red wine – a new era begins

The warm summers have enabled the Pinot Noir grapes to ripen in a way that makes it possible to make red wine.  For the first time we have produced a still red wine.  The wine is intriguingly rich and silky with aromas and flavours of black cherry and raspberry with complex undertones including a lingering dark chocolate and a touch of spice.  Incredible how the fermentation process can conjure such a variety of identifiable essences.
